Nyombe Swamp, found along the shores of Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda, is a well-loved destination for bird lovers and cultural explorers. So the called it Bunyonyi " many birds" A place of birds. With over 300 species of birds registered, lake Bunyonyi is listed among the IBA ( Important Birding Areas ) in Uganda.
