We’re excited to share some great news! This July, we welcomed five new volunteers to the Florence Mubonehe Memorial Health Centre. These passionate individuals will support various projects, including health outreach, youth education, and logistics.
Highlights from the team’s arrival:
-
Warm welcome from the local community with traditional dance and storytelling
-
A two-day orientation including local language basics and a health briefing
-
Immediate deployment to support child wellness clinics and antenatal care
Dr. Derrick, our facility’s lead health officer, said:
“Our volunteers are an important bridge between the community and the world. They bring love, learning, and hope.”
We thank all supporters for making this exchange possible. Want to volunteer with us? Visit our Volunteer Page to learn more.
